To thrive as a Technology Project Manager, you need a solid background in project management methodologies, technical acumen, and often a bachelor’s degree in a related field. Familiarity with project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project, and certifications such as PMP or Agile/Scrum are typically required.
