Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead complex, cross-functional technology transformation initiatives across our global digital and commerce ecosystem. This role will oversee multiple concurrent workstreams spanning Global Point of Sale (POS), Digital Commerce and UI/UX, Modern Platform Architecture (MPA), Technical Debt Reduction, and Engineering Modernization.
The ideal candidate is not a specialist in only one area, but rather a seasoned technology delivery leader who has successfully managed large-scale transformation programs involving product, engineering, architecture, infrastructure, and business stakeholders. This individual will serve as the operational glue between teams, ensuring strategic initiatives are planned, aligned, governed, and delivered effectively.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise technology transformation initiatives.
  • Manage complex programs involving:
    • Global POS modernization and deployments
    • eCommerce and digital experience enhancements
    • UI/UX transformation initiatives
    • Platform architecture modernization
    • Cloud and API-driven transformation projects
    • Technical debt remediation and modernization efforts
  • Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, budgets, risks, and dependencies.
  • Drive alignment between Product Management, Engineering, Architecture, UX, Infrastructure, Security, and Business stakeholders.
  • Facilitate executive-level governance and steering committee meetings.
  • Establish clear communication plans, project reporting, and delivery metrics.
  • Identify risks, issues, and roadblocks and proactively drive resolution.
  • Coordinate distributed teams across multiple time zones and external partners.
  • Ensure engineering priorities and product objectives remain aligned throughout execution.
  • Manage program dependencies across multiple workstreams and release schedules.
  • Support organizational change management, adoption planning, and implementation activities.
  • Track delivery performance and continuously improve execution practices.
Required Experience
  • 8+ years of Project Management, Program Management, or Transformation Management experience.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Experience delivering projects in multiple of the following areas:
    • Point of Sale (POS)
    • eCommerce platforms
    • Digital product delivery
    • UI/UX transformation
    • Platform modernization
    • Enterprise architecture initiatives
    • Technical debt reduction
    • Cloud transformation
    • API and systems integration
  • Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams of Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, UX Designers, and Business Leaders.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within retail, hospitality, consumer, or multi-location enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting global technology rollouts and geographically distributed teams.
  • Familiarity with modern architecture principles, cloud platforms, microservices, and digital commerce ecosystems.
  • PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent certifications.
  • Experience working with external vendors, system integrators, and consulting partners.
