About the Job
Summary of Position:
MedStar Georgetown University Hospital is seeking a GME Program Coordinator to support the administrative and operational functions of the Neuroradiology, Breast Body Imaging, Body Imaging & Anesthesiology programs.
This role plays a key part in coordinating day-to-day activities for residents, faculty, and leadership while ensuring smooth program operations and compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for residents, faculty, leadership, and external stakeholders
  • Provide administrative support including scheduling, calendar management, correspondence, file maintenance, and phone coverage
  • Coordinate schedules and activities for residents, faculty, students, and program leadership
  • Manage and track program-related documents, orders, and workflows to ensure timely completion
  • Prepare, edit, and distribute internal and external communications and program materials
  • Maintain accurate data in GME systems, databases, and reports
  • Assist with planning and coordination of meetings, events, and program activities
  • Serve as an on-site administrative resource for access requests, facilities coordination, IT support, and equipment ordering
  • Run and distribute routine reports to support program and departmental needs

Minimal Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field
  • Five years of related administrative experience, preferably in healthcare or complex organizational setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with standard office and database software

Knowledge Skills and Abilities
  • Demonstrated excellence in interpersonal verbal and written communication skills as well as excellent writing and editing skills. Sound judgement and ability to think act and make decisions independently. Strong public relations finance operational and organizational skills necessary. Excellent knowledge of word processing computer graphics and spreadsheet software(s).

This position has a hiring range of
USD $59,820.00 - USD $101,836.00 /Yr.
