The Program Coordinator (PMO Data & Operations Focus) supports program and portfolio leadership by providing analytical, financial, and operational insights that drive effective delivery and governance. This role operates primarily behind the scenes, leveraging data to identify gaps, monitor performance, and deliver actionable insights to leadership.
The Program Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring program health through detailed analysis, audit support, financial tracking, and tool utilization across platforms such as ServiceNow and Jira Align.

The Program Coordinator is responsible for supporting program and portfolio execution through detailed tracking, reporting, and analysis. This role requires strong technical skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with a focus on synthesizing large data sets into meaningful insights that support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze program and project data to identify trends, risks, and performance gaps
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership
  • Utilize advanced Excel capabilities, including pivot tables, formulas, and data modeling
  • Synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations that effectively communicate program performance and recommendations

Program & PMO Performance Audits

  • Conduct audits of project and program management performance against defined standards and governance frameworks
  • Identify gaps in execution, compliance, and reporting
  • Support continuous improvement by providing data-driven recommendations
  • Track remediation actions and monitor progress toward resolution

Tool Utilization & Data Management

  • Maintain and analyze data within ServiceNow, Jira Align, and similar PPM or Agile tools
  • Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across systems
  • Support reporting and insights derived from enterprise tools
  • Assist in improving tool adoption and reporting quality

Financial Tracking & Operational Support

  • Support department financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and spend tracking
  • Monitor resource allocation and capacity data
  • Analyze financial performance and identify variances or risks
  • Provide reporting and insights to leadership on financial health and resource utilization

Process Support & Continuous Improvement

  • Assist in documenting and refining process flows, workflows, and operational procedures
  • Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Support governance processes and reporting cadence
  • Contribute to the development of standardized templates and reporting formats

Use your skills to make an impact
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (Business, Finance, IT, or related field preferred)
  • 2-5 years of experience in:
    • Program coordination or PMO support
    • Data analysis and reporting
    • Financial tracking, budgeting, or operational support
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Strong skills in PowerPoint for creating executive-ready presentations
  • Experience working with ServiceNow, Jira Align, or similar tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in healthcare insurance or regulated industries
  • Experience supporting PMO governance, audit, or delivery assurance functions
  • Familiarity with project and program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall)
  • Experience with data visualization or reporting tools (beyond Excel)
  • Exposure to financial systems or cost management practices
  • PMP, CAPM, or Agile certification (nice to have, not required)

Additional Information: Limited Geography Remote - This is a remote position but located within a specific geography, must live in or within a commutable distance to one of the following locations: Louisville, KY Tampa, FL Fort Lauderdale, FL Dallas/Frisco, TX Boston, MA Washington, D.C. Atlanta, GA Nashville, TN Chicago, IL Charlotte, NC

Must be willing to work a hybrid schedule and be in office 2-3 days as needed

In certain roles, the minimum recommended internet speed required by Humana may not be sufficient for business needs. Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.


$71,100 - $97,800 per year


This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
