An IT Product Manager supporting technologies across the supply chain—from raw materials procurement through finished goods—is responsible for technology products supporting manufacturing, Operational Technology (OT), quality, and warehousing.

This role serves as a strategic liaison between Technology and business units, helping advance organizational goals through effective product management. The Product Manager aligns technology capabilities with business needs, manages the full product lifecycle, and fosters collaboration across technical teams, operational stakeholders, and external partners.


This position is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in technology management who is prepared to drive impactful product initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing and operations environment.


Responsibilities

  • Align technology capabilities and product initiatives with business unit objectives, identifying opportunities for innovation and technical improvements that deliver value to stakeholders and users
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business unit leaders and internal stakeholders to understand needs, gather requirements, and support strategic IT planning
  • Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of IT products, from ideation and planning through launch, assessment, and iteration, ensuring products meet business goals and user expectations
  • Lead product design and implementation, applying product management principles to coordinate cross-functional teams and ensure timely completion of product milestones
  • Apply agile methodologies, manage sprints, drive continuous improvement through iterative solutions, and facilitate agile ceremonies to improve team performance
  • Evaluate emerging technology trends and conduct market analysis to recommend enhancements that maximize business impact and user satisfaction
  • Manage product documentation to ensure accuracy, accessibility, and effective support for users and enablement initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to coordinate efforts, resolve issues, and deliver high-quality outcomes aligned with business needs
  • Track and optimize key performance indicators (KPIs), including business value delivery (e.g., revenue, customer lifetime value, churn), user adoption, customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, ROI, product strategy alignment, intake-to-solution time, time-to-market, team engagement, career progression, documentation discoverability, and cross-functional collaboration


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in product management or technology management, with a demonstrated history of leading initiatives, products, or services that advance organizational technology capabilities
  • Experience supporting manufacturing technology or operational environments preferred, including experience with Siemens solutions
  • Experience with product lifecycle management and market analysis
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management capabilities
  • Strategic thinking, innovation, and business analysis skills
  • Proficiency in product implementation, delivery, and ongoing management
  • Strong analytical capabilities for data-driven decision-making and KPI tracking
