Position Summary:

We are seeking an experiencedSenior Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing and procurement activities for IT and Telecom software and infrastructure. The role involves managing end-to-end procurement processes, negotiating high-value contracts, and developing long-term vendor relationships that support business and technical objectives. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost efficiency, process optimisation, and strategic alignment within the organisation’s technology procurement function.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of IT and Telecom software licenses, and related services (software, servers, network components, cloud platforms, etc.).
  • Lead sourcing initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and selecting qualified suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery, and compliance criteria.
  • Conduct RFI/RFP/RFQ processes, ensuring clear technical and commercial documentation and transparent supplier evaluations.
  • Collaborate closely with technical, financial, and legal teams to ensure alignment of procurement strategy with project and operational goals.
  • Negotiate complex contracts and framework agreements, focusing on optimizing commercial terms, reducing risks, and maximizing total value.
  • Ensure partner/supplier selection is based on the best purchasing and pricing conditions
  • Monitor supplier performance and risks and implement corrective action plans when necessary.
  • Support account management team in 3 rd party licenses renewals during customer contract lifecycle.
  • Perform TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) and ROI analysis and spend analysis to support strategic procurement decisions.
  • Drive cost optimization and budget control initiatives, ensuring procurement efficiency and financial sustainability.
  • Establish an efficient procurement process and ensure organizational alignment through stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption of the defined process

Skills and Experience

  • Strong knowledge of IT & Telecom procurement, including hardware, software, and infrastructure sourcing.
  • Strong expertise in contract negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing to ensure the best purchasing option. Knowledge of negotiation technics to ensure the best purchasing conditions
  • Excellent analytical skills with experience in cost modeling, TCO, and ROI analysis.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills. Including communications with executive leadership teams to represent the procurement function
  • Partner with the Finance, Account Management and Operations teams to develop annual budgets, forecasts, and cost-optimization programs.
  • Partner with Sales and Pre-Sales support teams to ensure right selection of suppliers/partners for different type of solution
  • Results-oriented mindset with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong ability to understand company business and align procurement process with multiple company goals and objectives
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and cross-cultural awareness.

Education & Professional Certifications:

  • Telecom market awareness and understanding of IT projects basics; Relevant University Degree in IT/ Telecom/Finance/Management or equivalent education;
  • 5+ years of experience in IT and Telecom procurement, preferably within large-scale or multinational organizations.
