Job Description:

As a Solutions Architect / Tech Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing a large system that includes hybrid cloud and on-premises Kubernetes clusters. Your main focus will be on modernizing the existing system, identifying areas for improvement, and optimizing costs to align with mission objectives and budget constraints.

Overall, your role as a Tech Lead will require you to have a deep understanding of various technologies and the ability to leverage them to enhance the system's performance and reliability. By utilizing your expertise in these areas, you will play a key role in driving the success of the organization's IT initiatives.

Work you'll do:

  • Lead the modernization efforts of the deployed system.
  • Determine enhancements needed for the system.
  • Optimize costs to meet mission and budget needs.
  • Manage hybrid cloud and on-premises Kubernetes clusters.
  • Implement system architecture best practices.
  • DevSecOps tools and practices.
  • Manage containerization using Docker/Podman.
  • Collaborate with teams to ensure smooth operations of the system.

Here's what you'll need:

  • Bachelor of Science degree
  • 10 to 12+ years of relevant experience with a strong skill set in the following areas:
    • Expertise in AWS Cloud, Linux, System Architecture, DevSecOps, Containers, Container Orchestration, Database Management, Big Data, and Query Technologies.
    • Your experience with these tools and processes will be crucial in effectively managing the system architecture, implementing DevSecOps practices, and ensuring efficient containers.

Security clearance:

  • Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance is required

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
