ATSI support services are growing. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional with a proven track record of success to join our team. This full-time position supports the Office of Naval Research (ONR).


The S&T Research Analyst will provide scientific, technical, and analytical support for Science and Technology (S&T) initiatives across the Naval Research Enterprise. The selected candidate will support technology development, program planning, portfolio assessments, and technology transition activities while ensuring alignment with Department of Defense and Department of the Navy priorities.


The S&T Research Analyst will work closely with ONR leadership, Program Officers, researchers, and stakeholders to support the planning, management, and execution of technology development and transition programs. The role requires a strong understanding of military requirements, systems, operations, and emerging technologies, as well as the ability to analyze and communicate complex technical information to support decision-making.


The ideal candidate will be a motivated self-starter, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities while supporting research and development programs in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university, or Graduate-level Professional Military Education (PME) in a technical or science curriculum
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD clearance
  • At least fifteen (15) years of experience in a related Science and Technology discipline
  • Experience supporting technology development and military requirements, systems, and operations
  • At least five (5) years of specific Science and Technology technical experience supporting the management, planning, and execution of technology transition programs
  • Demonstrated experience assembling, analyzing, and succinctly presenting information, conclusions, and recommendations

 Desired Experience:  

  • Knowledge of and experience supporting the ONR Science and Technology portfolio
  • Experience conducting technology searches, technical analyses, and technology roadmapping activities
  • A Master's degree in Science or Engineering is preferred over Graduate-level Professional Military Education (PME) in a technical or science curriculum

Position Location: Government office located in Arlington, VA. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, On Site.
