Job Summary:
Agile Defense is a company focused on providing innovative solutions to support national missions through advanced technologies. They are seeking IT Specialists and Engineers to support the Department of War IT Service Delivery contract, with responsibilities including network operation, cybersecurity, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Support the operation, maintenance, and integration of the Army's enterprise network, including the SECRET Internet Protocol Router Network (SIPRNET) and the Non-classified Internet Protocol Router Network (NIPRNET).
• Ensure the protection, availability, and reliability of communications and computing systems, software, applications, and data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain and enhance the Army's information capabilities, from strategic data centers to tactical echelons.
• Monitor and secure Army Platform Information Technologies (PIT), Control Systems (CS), and Critical Infrastructure/Key Resources (CI/KR).
• Implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard the Army enterprise network against emerging threats.
• Provide technical expertise for the collection, processing, storage, dissemination, and management of information on demand.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network and system issues to maintain operational readiness.
• Support joint, combined arms, and multi-domain operations by ensuring seamless network integration.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Strong understanding of common operating systems, network fundamentals, and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non technical personnel.
• Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale networks, cybersecurity operations, or enterprise IT systems.
• Must have U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain required security clearance.
Preferred:
• Experience supporting federal or defense-sector IT environments.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
• Knowledge of secure computing practices and DoW cybersecurity requirements.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, mission-driven environments.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with DoWIN operations and Department of War IT policies and protocols.
• Ability to work in dynamic, high-pressure environments and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
