Job Description
Title: CT Technologist
Schedule: Fri Sun 7am - 7:30pm. On call and holiday requirement: 2-3 call shifts/month.
Assignment Details:
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Requirements:
- New York State CT Tech License
- BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Two (2) years' experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
- Experience with Siemens equipment preferred
- Epic experience preferred
- Telemetry experience required
- Injection therapy certification preferred or must be willing to complete during orientation
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Confirm patient identity and exam verification before scans.
- Coordinate with physicians for diagnostic imaging.
- Prepare patients for scans and explain procedures to ensure comfort.
- Insert IVs as needed for tests.
- Position patients safely, utilizing appropriate handling techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records within EMR systems, including documenting necessary components and ensuring proper image management.
Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation process will include necessary certification completion.
