The Technology Team at Brown Gibbons Lang & Company (BGL) is seeking an Investment Banking Associate to join our software and technology team. This position is based out of either our Chicago, IL or New York, NY offices.
Responsibilities:
  • Supports senior bankers in transaction execution and client management
  • Performs financial analysis and modeling
  • Conducts industry research and business due diligence
  • Participates in marketing efforts
  • Develops client presentation materials

Qualifications:
  • Three or more years of previous experience in M&A Investment Banking
  • Bachelor's Degree required (majoring in Business, Finance or Accounting)
  • Sell side M&A experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting and financial modeling
  • Proven track record of strong transaction execution including presentations, financial analysis, transaction marketing documents and preparation of other materials
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and organization skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
