Job description

Perform CLIA waived and non-waived laboratory procedures with a high level of accuracy and independent judgment. Conduct tests in hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, and coagulation. Assist with specimen processing and perform phlebotomy as needed. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Contribute to team efforts in daily operations and maintain effective communication with colleagues. Strong understanding of laboratory procedures and techniques. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team-oriented approach. Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology (Associates or Bachelor’s) or equivalent is required. Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or equivalent preferred.

This is a Monday thru Friday 9am - 5:30pm position in a clinic setting, no nights, no weekends, closed the 6 major holidays.


Responsibilities: 

  • Perform chemical, microscopic, and hematologic tests to provide data for use in diagnosis and treatment of disease
  • Process and handle specimens appropriately
  • Calibrate and Run QC according to policies and procedures
  • Use computers for report handling and quality control

Qualifications: 

  • Associates Degree and Graduation from Accredited Clinical Laboratory Training Program OR Bachelors in Laboratory Science
  • 12 to 18 months related experience and/or training
