Job description

Certified Surgical Tech - Travel Position

Location: Anchorage, AK

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Job Description: We are seeking a qualified and experienced Certified Surgical Tech for a travel position in a dynamic operating room environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Da Vinci Xi Robotic spinal fusion, orthopedic procedures, and neuroservices, including total joint arthroplasty.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in surgical procedures for total joints, multi-level spine fusions, and various Xi robotic cases.
  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field during surgeries, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.
  • Collaborate with a team of nurses and surgical staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in on-call rotation as required, averaging 5-6 shifts per month, including 1 weekend shift.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

  • Certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Experience with Da Vinci Xi Robotic systems and spinal fusion procedures is essential.
  • Must have experience in orthopedic surgeries, particularly total joint arthroplasty.
  • Neuro experience is a requirement.
