What You'll Do:
• Supervise and support faculty and staff: conduct performance evaluations, review leave and timesheets, mentor for growth, and address personnel matters.
• Lead operational planning: build and evaluate course schedules, manage faculty workloads and instructional assignments, and coordinate adjunct/overload needs.
• Advance curriculum and academic quality: guide course/program development and revision, review syllabi and Canvas integration, and support assessment, program review, and accreditation activities.
• Strengthen student pathways: support dual enrollment, articulation, transfer agreements, and partnerships with K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and industry.
• Drive program growth and visibility: collaborate with Marketing on program promotion, website updates, social media, and recruitment materials.
• Monitor outcomes: track program completion, job placement, and other required metrics; ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Expand experiential learning: support internships, apprenticeships, work-based learning, and external partnerships where applicable.
• Manage resources: assist the Dean in planning for facilities, classrooms, labs, supplies, technology, and instructional needs; help administer contracts, MOUs, and articulation agreements.
• Resolve concerns: address student and faculty issues within the division and collaborate with appropriate offices to support success.
• Represent the division at convocation, graduations, open houses, committees, and professional development events; foster a respectful, inclusive culture.
Required Qualifications:
• Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of experience in higher education administration, academic support, or program leadership (community college experience preferred).
• Proven ability to plan, coordinate, and continuously improve academic programs and course offerings.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and learning management systems (e.g., Canvas).
• Flexibility to work varied hours and respond to evolving priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience supporting accreditation, program review, and assessment in higher education.
• Background working with dual enrollment, transfer pathways, or industry partnerships.
