The Marketing Research Intern will support audience, brand, messaging, and market research initiatives that help shape marketing strategies across Micron. This role is designed for a graduate-level student interested in applying research methodologies, analytics, and AI-Enabled tools to uncover actionable insights that improve audience engagement, brand equity, digital experiences, and business outcomes. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams to convert complex research findings into clear recommendations for collaborators and leadership.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth and data-driven research to understand key audiences, customer needs, perceptions, decision drivers, and market trends, while supporting audience segmentation and persona development initiatives.
  • Analyze brand health, brand perception, reputation, and competitive market research data to find opportunities that strengthen awareness, consideration, trust, and long-term brand value.
  • Support message testing, advertising efficiency studies, and content research efforts to evaluate audience response and improve marketing efficiency.
  • Leverage AI-Enabled analytics tools, Artificial Intelligence technologies, and research methodologies to accelerate insight generation, analyze audience behavior, and identify trends across research and digital data sources.
  • Build executive-ready reports, presentations, and recommendations, while coordinating with research vendors and internal collaborators to support study execution, reporting, and planning.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Marketing Research, Consumer Insights, Marketing, Business Analytics, Psychology, Economics, Communications, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to interpret research findings and develop actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience working with qualitative and quantitative data, including surveys, audience research, market research, or data analysis projects.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with market research methodologies, audience segmentation, persona development, brand tracking, or customer insights programs.
  • Familiarity with digital analytics, website behavior analysis, marketing measurement, or consumer research tools and platforms.
  • Experience using AI, Generative AI, AI-Assisted research tools, or Applying Artificial Intelligence to analyze research data, identify patterns, and generate insights.
  • Ability to synthesize complex research findings into executive-level presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations.
  • Experience collaborating alongside diverse functional groups, external research vendors, or collaborators in marketing, communications, analytics, or business functions.
