Job description

We are looking for an Associate IT Specialist to join our IT operations team at Harbinger Motors. We are a rapidly growing company with a dynamic team, seeking a versatile individual who can adapt to various roles and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with a strong eagerness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, and software
  • Respond to service requests and incidents in a professional manner while meeting the designated SLA
  • Prepare and deploy freshly provisioned computers
  • Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including laptops, desktops, and accessories
  • Install, configure, and upgrade desktop hardware and software components, including operating systems, drivers, and applications
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in IT or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical support role, preferably in a desktop support or helpdesk role
  • Familiarity with desktop hardware components, peripherals, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to 

Non-Technical Users 

  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11) and common desktop applications such as Zoom, Slack, Microsoft Office.
  • Able to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
