John Jones Auto Group is expanding! We’re seeking an experienced Service Manager with Ford and/or Chrysler dealership experience to join our growing team.

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Manager to lead our growing service department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, ASE certification, and proven leadership skills. In this role, you’ll oversee daily service operations, manage a team of technicians and advisors, ensure high-quality repairs, and deliver an exceptional customer experience. A focus on efficiency, profitability, and team development is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
  • Serve as a liaison between technicians and customers
  • Take ownership of customers’ experience by carrying out additional assignments, enabling the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer
  • Manage and hire technicians and service advisors
  • Interview and make new hires
  • Distribute work between technicians
  • Prioritize required services
  • Ensure customers have a positive dealership experience
  • Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether via phone or in person, to ensure the customer does not get mishandled
  • Spend quality time building relationships with the customers
