About the Role

Hoskbrew LLC is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager to own the full lifecycle of our in-house projects — from custom customer requests and PCB fabrication to tabletop RPG product releases and injection-molded manufacturing runs.

This role is a unique hybrid of production coordination, technical liaison, and process builder. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational discipline with hands-on cross-functional coordination and a genuine enthusiasm for small-batch manufacturing and hardware development.

In this position, you will oversee project intake, scoping, planning, execution, testing, and closeout across multiple concurrent workstreams — acting as the connective tissue between engineering, production, purchasing, customer service, and leadership. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives at the intersection of organization, communication, technical curiosity, and operational execution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full project lifecycle—intake, scoping, planning, execution, testing, and closeout—for all in-house projects, maintaining a master roadmap and tracking progress against deadlines

  • Serve as the point of contact for custom customer requests and special orders (e.g., custom parts, modded consoles), translating requirements into actionable plans and keeping customers informed

  • Manage Tabletop RPG (TTRPG) product development from concept through release, coordinating writers, designers, artists, editors, and playtesting cycles

  • Coordinate PCB design and layout with engineers, manage handoff to fabrication vendors, and oversee board testing and QA processes

  • Manage packaging, branding, and product artwork projects, coordinating with in-house or contract designers to hit production standards

  • Manage timelines for injection-molded product runs, including tooling, vendor coordination, lead times, minimum order quantities, and quality checks

  • Act as the liaison between engineering, production, purchasing, customer service, and leadership, running status meetings and identifying resource bottlenecks

  • Establish and refine repeatable project management processes, templates, and tracking tools tailored to a small-batch manufacturing and hardware business

Role Evolution & Flexibility

While the duties outlined above represent the primary focus of this position currently, our organization is a young, growing company with many exciting ideas. As we expand, this role will naturally evolve over time to include additional responsibilities, duties, and functions. We are a small, passionate group of individuals who take on fun, exciting, and sometimes highly challenging projects. Because of our dynamic environment, you must be adaptable, resilient, and comfortable navigating changing situations. Success in this role requires a genuine enthusiasm for expanding your capabilities—whether through leveraging artificial intelligence, working alongside consultants, asking the right questions, or simply committing to continuous, lifelong learning.

Qualifications

Preferred

  • Familiarity with electronics manufacturing, PCB fabrication/assembly, or hardware product development

  • Experience in retro gaming, consumer electronics, or a small-batch manufacturing environment

  • Exposure to injection molding, tooling, or vendor/supplier management

  • PMP, CAPM, or similar project management certification

  • Graphic design experience or familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus

  • Personal interest in retro gaming or classic consoles is a plus

Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in project management, production coordination, or a similar role

  • Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar)

  • Experience coordinating across technical and non-technical teams

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable coordinating across technical and non-technical teams

  • Proficiency with standard office/productivity software (Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office)

  • Comfortable reading and tracking technical specifications, even without an engineering background

  • Strong vendor management, negotiation, and production coordination skills

  • Creative problem-solving mindset with commitment to craftsmanship and quality

  • Adaptable and resilient, with comfort navigating shifting priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Leadership & Collaboration

This role oversees coordination across engineering, production, purchasing, customer service, and external vendors and fabrication partners. The Project Manager will run status meetings, surface resource bottlenecks, and align priorities across the project pipeline to ensure timely and accurate delivery.

Work Environment & Schedule
  • Primarily office and production-based work environment, on-site at Hoskbrew LLC

  • Full-time, exempt schedule, typically Monday through Friday

  • Standard shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with flexibility based on production timelines and project needs

  • Collaborative, creative, and fast-paced environment focused on craftsmanship and precision

Equal Opportunity Employer

Hoskbrew is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or genetic information.
