Job description

Project Manager / HVAC Engineer| $79,000 - $95,000 Salary

Work Hours: Monday through Friday | 8:00am to 5:00pm

Locations: Sheridan and Gillette

Essential Job Duties:

  • This position plays a critical support role in planning, scheduling, budgeting, field cost analysis, and compliance
  • Support Project Managers in planning, coordination, and execution of projects
  • Assist in preparing project submittals, including schedules, material lists, and subcontractor details.
  • Prepare and track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Maintain accurate project logs and reporting for clients and management
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of information and materials
  • Review drawings and specifications to spot potential conflicts and support resolution in the field
  • Assist in building and monitoring project schedules and milestones
  • Track budgets, invoices, and cost-related documentation
  • Participate in site meetings and ensure smooth project closeout with as-builts, warranties, and final reports
  • Obtain necessary project permits.
  • Track project quantities and assist in cost projections

Qualifications:

  • 2 -3 years of commercial construction experience or internships in construction management
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of construction methods, drawings, and specifications
  • Proficiency in construction-related software and computer applications. (Procore, MS Project, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Etc.)
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines
  • OSHA 10 certification required: OSHA 30 - Desired
  • Familiarity with government contract requirements - Desired
  • Valid drivers license and insurable drivers license

Candidates will be required to pass a background check and drug test upon being given a conditional offer of employment.
