With its data-driven decisioning engine and network of global lenders, ChargeAfter delivers the most relevant financing offers to consumers from multiple lenders resulting in credit approvals for up to 85% of customer applications. ChargeAfter streamlines the distribution of credit into a single platform that can be white-labled and branded by banks, financial institutions and retailers, both online and in-store.
Here at ChargeAfter, we are building the next unicorn in the Fintech industry and are looking for a talented and success driven Technical Project Manager to help make it happen!
About the role:
We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join the ChargeAfter Technical Program Team as part of the Operations group.
The TPM will coordinate, manage, drive and execute partners and Merchants client onboarding, integrations and strategic integrations with Banks and Financial Institutions.
Lead technical client/partner project plans to successfully integrate to the ChargeAfter. This is both a client/partner facing role, and R&D facing role, where you will work in conjunction with Solution Engineers, Architects, R&D Engineers, E2E QA, Product, Operations and Customer Success facilitating technical solution brainstorming for a variety of high-volume products including Client facing features & R&D Programs.
Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities:
  • Taking the identified business requirements and solution proposal, drive SDLC delivery of successful end-to-end client/partner integrations through comprehensive project delivery plans, operating rhythms and execution strategies.
  • Own overall project management, internal (R&D) and external (Client/Partner) communication.
  • Drive the technical onboarding engagements & across a wider cross-functional team of internal ChargeAfter technical units.
  • Work with product, on quarterly planning to prioritize the feature delivery of identified business & product requirements.
  • Apply professional services (RACI) & project management (Agile) methodologies metrics creation, Risk & dependency management in order to manage complex, multi-work stream efforts
  • Have an excellent proven track record of managing large collaborative efforts across strategic/enterprise level partnership engagements.

You will:
  • Work effectively with peers in a global organization to successfully onboard new enterprise partners and drive internal & external complex projects.
  • Participate & facilitate the quarterly PI Planning.
  • Inspire and influence others to solve problems and seize opportunities.
  • Effectively communicate with both internal and external C-level personnel.
  • Manage integration,be the Technical POCs, plan & facilitate technical programs.
  • Collaborate effectively in a highly dynamic and maturing business context.
  • Balance inward/outward decisions (customer, financial, risk, compliance, execution).
  • Maintain strong competency in cross-functional interaction models and matrix organization.
  • Effectively partner with product and engineering teams to achieve the best solution for both client and company.
  • Implement new services, and processes, and manage the continuous improvement feedback

Requirements
You have:
  • 2-4 years experience in Technical Project Management or Professional Services, ideally in a high-paced delivery environment
  • Technical orientation - specifically in specifying & building automation with AI Tools (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini).
  • Experience working with project management tools (ClickUp, Jira, Confluence, MS Project, etc.) to create Gantts and other visual representations of project status and timelines
  • Proven track record of successfully driving and delivering development & customization based project across different departments
  • Team player, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a global multi-national teams

Advantage Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working in fintech i.e., payment gateways, marketplaces, banks, and financial institutions
  • B.sc/B.cs/ Engineering
  • Certification in Project Management discipline - preferred (SAFe, Agile, PMP, Six Sigma,)
  • Ability to analyze strategic objectives and define specific tactical goals
  • Knowledge in, Azure DevOps, PM tools, MongoDb
  • Knowledge in Python scripts

NYC Posting: In accordance with New York City Local Law 32, the expected salary for this role is between $130,000-$140,000. This role may be eligible for additional compensation in the form of bonuses and/or stock options.
