Salary: 95000-125000

Founded in 1998 with the specific mission of providing integrated ecological and engineering consulting services, Princeton Hydro offers expertise in natural resource management, water resources engineering, geotechnical design & investigation, and regulatory compliance.

We are seeking an experienced geotechnical engineer to join our mission-driven team. Were looking for someone who brings technical expertise, collaborative spirit, and an interest in sustainable engineering solutions. This individual will serve a key function in providing geotechnical expertise to support our ecological restoration, natural resources, and geotechnical engineering projects.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • Plan and perform various subsurface investigation efforts, including both land and water-based projects.
  • Perform geotechnical analyses including but not limited to, slope stability, seepage, bearing capacity, settlement, axial and lateral capacities of deep foundations, sheet pile design, and soil liquefaction
  • Prepare geotechnical reports and plans
  • Provide geotechnical guidance to other Practice Areas in the firm
  • Perform construction oversight for various restoration projects
  • Train and mentor junior staff
  • Other duties as requested

MINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree in civil engineering
  • Minimum 6+ years relevant experience
  • Professional engineering licensure
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities; including writing proposals, technical reports, and presenting technical information to clients
  • Excellent time management skills that allow for the simultaneous management of multiple tasks
