Job description

Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and technically adept Technical Business Project Manager to take ownership and coordinate complex operational and technology initiatives across our global organization. This is not a traditional project coordinator role. We are looking for someone who wants to understand the technology, business objectives, and operational landscape well enough to drive projects strategically from concept through execution and further iteration. You will partner with technical team leads, understanding how systems work together, and help the business prioritize and execute initiatives that improve operational efficiency.

This role will own and drive multiple concurrent projects supporting employee onboarding, infrastructure, hardware lifecycle management, application enablement, and other technology initiatives. Success requires exceptional attention to detail, flexibility in a fast-changing environment, and the ability to build strong partnerships across business and technical teams globally.

What You'll Do

  • Drive success across multiple cross-functional technology and operational projects from planning through execution.
  • Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
  • Coordinate priorities across multiple technology teams, balancing competing initiatives and changing business needs.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, risk assessments, status reporting, and communication plans.
  • Drive large-scale employee onboarding and enablement initiatives, ensuring technology, access provisioning, hardware, equipment, and logistics are delivered accurately and on schedule.
  • Coordinate infrastructure and operational initiatives including hardware procurement, server deployments, office technology upgrades, and environment enhancements.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, engineering, infrastructure, procurement, deployment teams, and other IT organizations.
  • Monitor project execution, proactively identify risks, remove blockers, and ensure deliverables are completed without details falling through the cracks.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the organization's applications, systems, and technology landscape to improve prioritization and decision-making.
  • Partner with global teams across multiple offices to coordinate initiatives with international stakeholders.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, automate manual activities, and increase operational efficiency.
What we’re looking for
  • 3–8+ years of experience in Technical Project Management, IT Project Management, Technical Program Management, Infrastructure Project Management, or similar roles.
  • Previous hands‑on technical experience as a software developer, systems engineer, infrastructure engineer, business systems analyst, or similar technical role is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical curiosity with the desire to understand applications, infrastructure, business processes, and system dependencies.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while adapting to changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to think strategically while remaining focused on operational execution.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure, deployment, hardware lifecycle, data center, cloud, or enterprise technology initiatives is a plus.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment supporting business-critical technology.
  • Ability to think on your feet and make critical decisions during high‑pressure moments.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise technology, including infrastructure, hardware, networking, software development lifecycle, databases, and enterprise applications.
  • Familiarity with SQL or MySQL for basic data analysis or validation.
  • Understanding of software development processes and technology concepts, even if no longer actively developing software.
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables), Outlook, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar.
  • Interest in leveraging AI tools to improve project delivery and operational efficiency is a plus.
