Job description

Apogee Global RMS is seeking a Program/Project Manager II to support high‑visibility Navy engineering, modernization, and lifecycle initiatives.

This candidate will drive disciplined program execution across planning, budgeting, scheduling, subcontract oversight, and technical coordination — ensuring alignment with client processes, milestones, and reporting expectations.

Core Responsibilities

  • Lead program and project management activities across assigned portfolios
  • Manage contract and subcontract performance, deliverables, and vendor coordination
  • Develop and maintain program budgets, schedules, estimates, and progress tracking artifacts
  • Provide full lifecycle program support, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout
  • Track spend rates, burn curves, and financial performance against LOE/CPFF task orders
  • Build and maintain POA&Ms, milestone plans, and risk/issue logs
  • Support Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development and updates
  • Facilitate technical meetings, capture action items, and deliver status reporting to Government stakeholders
  • Coordinate with engineering, logistics, and technical teams to ensure alignment with SOW and task order requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business from an ABET‑accredited institution
  • 10+ years of experience as a Program Manager supporting Navy or related DoD programs
  • Demonstrated experience with:
    1. Program/project management
    2. Contract and subcontract management
    3. Budgeting, scheduling, estimating, and performance tracking
    4. Lifecycle program support and milestone management
    5. POA&M development and burn‑rate monitoring
    6. IMS support and technical coordination
  • Ability to obtain Government facility/network access; Tier 3 investigation required for on‑site DON system access

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • PMP Certification
  • Experience managing CPFF/LOE or SeaPort‑NxG task order environments
  • Familiarity with NAVSEA 05/07, or Navy modernization programs
  • Current clearance level (if any)
