Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an ILS Program Manager 3. This position will be in Roy, Utah and will support the Sentinel program.

Northrop Grumman supports the Air Force's sustainment, development, production and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities and associated infrastructure.

What You'll Get To Do:

As the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Manager for Sentinel, the selected candidate will support the Logistics Program Manager in the planning and management across the Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements. The ILS Program manager will be responsible for leading the Maintenance Planning and Management, Supply Support, Packaging, Handling Storage and Transportation (PHS&T), and Technical orders (TO) activities for Sentinel. The ILS Program Manager will integrate with design teams, sustaining engineering and logistics functions to influence design towards desired performance outcomes and to reduce sustainment costs.

The ILS Program Manager is responsible for:

Influencing product design for supportability

Assisting the government customer in refining their product support requirements

Ensuring program compliance with all applicable government regulations and instructions

Establishing and maintaining ILS plans and processes

Establishing the Supply Support system

Planning for the eventual deployment and sustainment of the Sentinel weapon system and as it transitions from Minuteman III

Delivering logistics products and services to sustain system operational readiness

Overseeing the Technical Orders development and delivery process

Ensuring that PHS&T requirements are fulfilled

Briefing program leadership and customers on all ILS aspects of the program

Managing ILS program Cost, Schedule and Technical performance and the reporting of Earned

Value Metrics

Establishing and executing to program Milestones and award fee criteria

Directing the work of the employees assigned to the ILS Program

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

You'll Bring These Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 8 years related experience, or Masters Degree and 6 years related experience or in lieu of degree 4 additional years of experience

At least 8 years of experience in related Product Support functional areas

Must have an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope

Ability to obtain and maintain Sentinel special program access (PAR)

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Program Management, Logistics disciplines or related field of study

At least 3 years of formal management experience to include performance reviews for direct reports

Master of Science Degree in a field related to Program Management or Logistics disciplines

Current or ability to gain Top Secret DoD Clearance

Experience with NG software tools (SAP, CPLM, NX)

Experience leading a Product Support team

Experience delivering GEIA-STD-0007 compliant logistics data, level of repair analysis, and provisioning requirements

Primary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 - $250,100.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
