Required Skills/Experience:

  • Second Level Scrum Master Certification
  • Minimum three years experience working as the Scrum Master of a software delivery team
  • Working knowledge of the Agile Manifesto and Principles
  • Experience being on multiple Scrum teams in a variety of different contexts (different team sizes, different organizations, different cultures, co-located vs. distributed, etc)
  • Experience working with hybrid agile teams that interface with waterfall applications or teams
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situation awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
  • Experience working with software delivery teams/programs supporting 3-5+ applications/systems
  • The ability to distinguish between what "is Scrum" what is "not Scrum"
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills

Additional Experience Desired:

  • eCommerce/Portal, Telecom and or Network experience is beneficial
  • Knowledge of other agile approaches: XP, Kanban, FDD, etc.
  • Knowledge and/or experience with successful agile techniques: User Stories, ATDD, TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pairing, Automated Testing
  • Previous experience as a team lead
  • Ability to engage in very technical discussions
