Job description

Key Responsibilities

Assist in developing and organizing project plans, schedules, and defined deliverables.
Monitor ongoing activities to support on-time milestone completion and maintain updated tracking logs and action registers.
Gather, organize, and summarize technical and program data for leadership visibility and decision-making.
Act as a liaison among cross-functional teams, engineering staff, management, and customers when appropriate.
Ensure project records and documentation are accurate, current, and stored in accordance with company procedures.
Identify potential schedule impacts or risks and communicate concerns to the PCE or appropriate stakeholders.
Support the preparation and distribution of planning documents, progress reports, and related materials.
Encourage compliance with internal engineering standards and project governance processes.
Assist with resource coordination efforts, including assignment tracking, time reporting updates, and material requests.
Participate in technical and program meetings, capturing notes, decisions, and follow-up actions.
Contribute to risk tracking and escalation activities as directed by engineering leadership.
Help coordinate design reviews, audits, and configuration control efforts.
Provide logistical support for project-related meetings and occasional travel coordination.
Support adherence to applicable regulatory, quality, and industry standards.
Track completion of key deliverables, review gates, and required program milestones.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, a scientific discipline, or another related technical area.
Approximately two or more years of professional experience in an engineering environment, project support function, or similar role.
Exposure to cross-functional or multidisciplinary projects; experience in aerospace or industrial settings is advantageous.
Working knowledge of project management concepts and commonly used tools such as scheduling software and spreadsheet applications.
Experience contributing to projects within highly regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, automotive, or similar sectors).
Understanding of technical documentation standards and configuration control methodologies.
Academic coursework or demonstrated interest in project management principles.

Salary Range: $80,000-$100,000
