Job description

Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist

Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. On-call obligation and potential for overtime.

Assignment Details:

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited technical program in Cardiovascular Technology or a healthcare-related associate's degree.
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification is required.
  • 2 years of experience in a cardiac catheterization or special procedures lab is preferred.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to patients in the cardiac catheterization lab.
  • Assist the Cardiologist during all phases of procedures performed in the cardiac catheterization lab.
  • Perform a variety of technical and administrative duties related to the cardiac catheterization lab operations.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care for adult and geriatric populations.
