Job Summary:

The Technical Service Manager will oversee technology and maintenance at the park. They will be a self starter who has experience with electro-mechanical, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting. Successful candidates will be talented individuals who are lifelong learners and fantastic problem solvers. The right member of our team will have not only technical aptitude, but also be someone with exemplary customer service to make sure every guest leaves happy.

What will you be doing?

  • Supervise Maintenance Techs to ensure assigned tasks are effectively addressed
  • Meet regularly with staff to provide supervision and ensure open communication
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and other regulatory agencies
  • Provide continuous training and development of the tech and maintenance team
  • Determine schedules for maintenance staff to ensure appropriate coverage and to expedite work.
  • Oversee, clean, and be responsible for multiple attractions including Coasters, Virtual Reality Systems, Laser Tag, Simulators, and more.
  • Order all parts following budgets
  • Assist techs on major escalated issues
  • Work with senior leaders to develop training programs
  • Assist with POS systems, projectors, and other building equipment
  • Ensures daily preventative maintenance and repairs are completed
  • Maintain PM logs for all attractions and keep them up to date
  • Responsible for all building maintenance and contractors needed to repair
  • Maintain a safety-focused attitude at all times
  • Assist with documenting fire and disaster drills in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Ensure implementation of corrective action needed as a result of internal or external safety inspections
  • Inspect storage rooms, work rooms, utility/janitorial closets, etc., for upkeep and supply control
  • Follow all processes involving maintenance including but not limited to safety and OSHA, maintenance procedures, logging, and reporting
  • Assist with parts/tools inventory and purchasing for stores
  • Maintaining payout structure at all locations (25%) as well as assist troubleshooting with Embed and Center Edge POS system
  • Ensure that maintenance personnel always follow established safety regulations in the use of equipment and supplies
  • Ensure that all personnel wear and/or use safety equipment and supplies (e.g., back brace, mechanical lifts, etc.) when lifting or moving heavy objects
  • Ensure that supplies, equipment, etc., are maintained to provide a safe and comfortable environment
  • Assist with obtaining/maintaining material safety data sheets (SDS) for hazardous chemicals in the maintenance department
  • Ensure that containers of hazardous chemicals in the department are properly labeled and stored
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Familiar with Embed system and Center Edge POS software a plus

Education:

  • High school or equivalent education required

Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must have, as minimum, one (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity, in a maintenance related position.

Requirements:

  • Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance standards
  • Highly organized and strong work ethic
  • Must be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 10-hour shifts
