Ascentec Engineering is hiring! We are looking for a Technical Project Manager to join our team! We are a rapidly growing company specializing in manufacturing high-quality products for our world-class customers. This position is on-site (not remote/not hybrid) and not eligible for Visa sponsorship or transfer of Visa sponsorship.
Requirements
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects, ensuring they meet established timeframes, specifications, and budgets.
• Develop product configurations and methods utilizing Epicor ERP system.
• Manage project risks, including timely identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate and lead project meetings to ensure clear communication of project statuses, milestones, and expectations across all stakeholders.
• Implement project management best practices using tools like MS Project or similar to track progress and manage resources.
• Facilitate collaboration across functional teams to ensure alignment and efficient execution of project objectives.
• Manage the scope of projects, including overseeing the change request process and ensuring any changes are documented, approved, and implemented effectively.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE AND TECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree and above in engineering, or a related technical field.
• Certifications: Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience specifically in the manufacturing of physical technical products.
• Proven track record of managing projects with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in using project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
• Strong technical acumen with the ability to understand and interpret technical specifications and requirements.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and their application in project management, Epicor preferred.
• Familiarity with agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Ability to analyze drawings, design models, and sketches to determine dimensions and configuration related to shop processes, customer specifications, and machine capabilities.
LEADERSHIP & COMMUNICATION:
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, capable of working constructively with all stakeholders, including team members, management, and external partners.

WORKING CONDITIONS:
