Job description

Overview

Position: Program Manager (Onsite) in Aurora, CO. Security clearance required: TS/SCI with Polygraph; U.S. citizenship required. This role is with RTX, a leading aerospace and defense company. The role involves leading program cost, schedule, and technical performance for a civil construction or related project and interfacing with customers, subcontractors, and internal executives.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the accountable and responsible leader for program cost, schedule, and technical performance.
  • Direct internal and cross-functional teams to meet contractual milestones and quality objectives.
  • Drive disciplined program execution through risk management, schedule analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Interface directly with customers, subcontractors, and internal executives to communicate program status, risks, and opportunities.
  • Oversee the execution of a firm-fixed-price civils construction project.
  • Develop and maintain a healthy working relationship with the Government Leadership Team to facilitate a relationship built on trust and partnership.
  • Secure follow-on contract work through effective shaping and capture management.
  • Implement modernized software development processes, converting legacy processes to a scaled Agile model.
Qualifications You Must Have
  • An active and in-scope TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is required for consideration. U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field with minimum 12 years experience.
  • Program Management experience leading complex, high-value development contracts.
  • Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance using program management tools such as EVMS, IMP, IMS, and Risk and Opportunity Management.
  • Strong communication, influence management, and presentation skills with internal and external stakeholders at all leadership levels.
  • Raytheon Program Management certification at level 3, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • CORE Professional or higher certification.
  • Knowledge and understanding of Agile Development.
  • Experience with Firm Fixed Price contract execution.
  • Knowledge and experience with Civil construction.
  • Experience delivering and sustaining work products across multiple, geographically diverse locations.
Role Details
  • Role type: Onsite. Employees work primarily onsite. In-person interview steps may be required at office locations.
  • Salary range: 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) match, and other programs depending on business unit and bargaining status.
