Job description

Our client in the Dutchess County area has an immediate opening for a NetSuite Project Manager. This is a Contract position expected to support the project on an approximately 20-hour-per-week schedule in a hybrid work arrangement based on business needs. The ideal candidate will bring strong project leadership, coordinate cross-functional efforts, and act as a trusted advisor throughout implementation activities.


Responsibilities:

• Direct day-to-day execution of the NetSuite implementation, keeping project tasks organized, on schedule, and aligned with business priorities.

• Partner with NetSuite representatives and internal stakeholders to lead meetings, clarify next steps, and drive completion of outstanding action items.

• Coordinate training assignments for team members and monitor progress to help ensure users are prepared to work effectively within the system.

• Function as the primary internal resource for NetSuite-related questions, decisions, and best-practice guidance across the organization.

• Oversee project activities related to financial system configuration, including established account structures, organizational dimensions, and transaction workflow validation.

• Support demonstrations, walkthroughs, and review sessions using sample invoices, vendor bills, and related financial data to confirm system readiness.

• Collaborate with finance and accounting leadership, as well as broader team members, to align implementation work with operational requirements and user needs.
