JOB TITLE: Technical Design 5
LOCATION: Everett, WA
PAY RATE: $63.25/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details: 

  • Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

Qualifying Questions:

  • Are you a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual) as defined under ITAR regulations?

  • Do you meet the educational and experience requirements for this role?

  • Can you commute to the job location or relocate if necessary?

Summary: 

  • Create and update drafted parts and product structures to support production and quality concerns.

  • Perform model definition changes and translate engineering concepts into physical part geometry and assemblies.

  • Support real-time fabrication and production flow issues.

  • Collaborate with Design, Stress, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supplier teams.

  • Support materials/process engineering, non-conformance analysis, and failure investigations.

  • Develop technical requirements, specifications, and engineering documentation.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or equivalent drafting/design experience.

  • 9+ years of aerospace design experience, including:

    • Detail and assembly parts

    • Product structures

    • Metallic part machining

  • Experience with CATIA or equivalent solid modeling tools.

  • Experience using Integrated Visualization Tool (IVT).

  • Strong understanding of CAD and aerospace product structures.

  • Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving, investigative, and multitasking skills.

  • Experience managing projects across multiple organizations.

  • Experience working in engineering lab environments.
