Web & SharePoint Administrator Location: Columbia, SC Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite and 2 Days Remote Per Week Interview Process: 1 round, Virtual/Online Duration: 12 Months Employment Type: Contract Experience Required: 08+ Years Candidate Location: Candidate MUST be a SC resident or willing to relocate to SC prior to starting the role at their own expense. Project Scope: The South Carolina Department of Revenue (SCDOR) is seeking an experienced Web & SharePoint Administrator to support and maintain the agency's Internet, Intranet, and SharePoint environments. This role will be responsible for SharePoint administration, web infrastructure support, system maintenance, troubleshooting, and providing technical leadership for web-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities: Administer, configure, maintain, and support SharePoint Server 2019 and SharePoint Online environments. Serve as technical lead for monthly SharePoint updates across test and production environments. Plan, schedule, deploy, and validate SharePoint patches and upgrades.

Provide support for agency websites, web applications, and intranet platforms. Deliver Level-2 Help Desk support for internet and intranet applications. Support content management and publishing activities for internal and external web platforms.

Install, administer, and maintain SharePoint farm infrastructure and associated application servers. Work closely with business users and IT teams to design and implement web solutions. Mentor junior technical staff and provide technical leadership.

Ensure web applications follow security best practices and agency standards. Required Skills & Experience: 7+ Years of SharePoint Server 2019 & SharePoint Online Administration 7+ Years of IIS Administration Experience 7+ Years of Windows Server Administration (2019 or higher) 7+ Years of State Government Experience Strong Knowledge of SharePoint Farm Administration Experience Supporting Enterprise Web Applications & Infrastructure Excellent Troubleshooting and Technical Support Skills Preferred Skills: Experience with Cloud-Based Solutions Microsoft SharePoint Development & Administration Experience Enterprise Collaboration Platforms Education: Bachelor's Degree in IT, Business, or equivalent experience (10+ years)
