GA TECH Technical Business Analyst - Salesforce & Marketing Cloud
[About the Role]
Join Georgia Tech as a Technical Business Analyst and become the subject matter expert for Salesforce Lightning Experience and Marketing Cloud. You'll serve as the go-to resource for complex troubleshooting, data integration, and system optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, directly impact digital transformation, and help drive strategic solutions for a leading academic institution. This hybrid Atlanta-based role offers valuable exposure to innovative technology and the opportunity for contract extension after six months.
[Responsibilities]
- Deliver expert-level user support, troubleshoot, and resolve complex Salesforce and Marketing Cloud issues
- Design, build, and optimize advanced Salesforce reports and dashboards using cross-filters and custom report types
- Develop and integrate Marketing Cloud features, including Cloud Pages for digital communication and data capture workflows
- Collaborate with Marketing, Advising, and Digital Communications teams to translate business needs into scalable Salesforce/Marketing Cloud solutions
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and resolve list/segment issues and automation behavior across platforms
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), support user adoption, and enable functional users through tailored training and documentation
- Document system processes, enhancements, and provide actionable recommendations for ongoing operational excellence
- Manage multiple projects with competing priorities while communicating effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
[Required Skills and Experience]
- Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
- Salesforce Certified Administrator
- Demonstrated Salesforce Trailhead knowledge/ranking
- Proven experience supporting Salesforce CRM and Marketing Cloud in a technical capacity
- Strong data organization, analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Effective communicator with experience bridging technical and non-technical teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Miro, and IT business management tools
- Local to Atlanta, GA; able to work a hybrid schedule
[Preferred Skills]
- Salesforce Platform App Builder certification
- Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist certification
- Advanced experience with Salesforce AppExchange, data management, and process diagramming
- Project management exposure, including flow/wireframing and requirements documentation
