What's the position?
The Player Engagement Associate supports player engagement and promotional activities for Hard Rock Bet. Under the supervision of the Omni Activation Manager, this role assists guests with account registration, promotions, and general customer support both online and on property. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, energetic, and eager to learn about the sports betting and online casino industry. The position follows established policies, procedures, and guidelines while escalating non-routine issues to appropriate team members.
This position is based at a casino property and requires regular interaction with guests on the gaming floor, in public areas, and at promotional events. The role is primarily focused on providing customer support, educating guests on Hard Rock Bet products and promotions, and assisting with routine player engagement activities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist guests with registering and navigating the Hard Rock Bet Sports & Casino apps.
  • Provide friendly and professional customer service in person and through digital channels.
  • Participate in on-property activations, special events, and marketing promotions as assigned.
  • Assist with event setup, breakdown, and distribution of promotional materials.
  • Answer basic customer questions related to gameplay, promotions, payments, and account verification.
  • Provide in-person support to guests regarding account registration, app navigation, promotions, and general product questions.
  • Promote current player offers, rewards programs, events, and property information.
  • Assist with promotional activities designed to increase awareness and adoption of Hard Rock Bet products by engaging with guests on property and at promotional events.
  • Maintain accurate customer information and follow company data entry standards.
  • Document customer interactions and support activities in company systems.
  • Complete routine administrative tasks, reports, and other assignments as directed.
  • Follow established procedures to verify customer information and account details.
  • Resolve routine customer inquiries using established procedures and escalate complex customer concerns, technical issues, or exceptions to appropriate team members.
  • Demonstrate responsible gaming awareness and report concerns appropriately.
  • Work collaboratively with marketing, operations, and property teams to support engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain knowledge of Hard Rock Bet products, promotions, and responsible gaming practices.
  • Represent the Hard Rock brand in a professional, enthusiastic, and guest-focused manner.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and applicable gaming regulations.
  • Maintain an active presence on the casino floor and other designated property locations to assist guests and promote awareness of Hard Rock Bet products and promotions.
  • Maintain compliance with all casino property policies, gaming regulations, and responsible gaming requirements.

  • Part time position, approximately 20 - 30 hours per week

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any required New Jersey gaming license or certification.
  • Flexible schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the casino property, including the gaming floor, event spaces, and guest service areas, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail, sales, or related fields preferred.
  • Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
  • Interest in sports, gaming, entertainment, or hospitality industries is a plus.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
  • Basic computer and mobile app navigation skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds.
  • Regularly works in a casino environment with exposure to noise, crowds, and smoking areas where permitted by law.
  • Must be comfortable engaging with guests in a fast-paced hospitality and gaming environment.
  • Requires frequent movement throughout the property during shifts.
