You, as an Assistant Manager, Technical Services, will:

  • Partner with EDFS technical team's on facilities-focused efforts;
  • Ensure sites are supported to be fully compliant with relevant codes and standards;
  • Monitor Vendor and site performance to PM standards and maintenance requirements
  • Coordinate efforts with sites to improve utilization of CMS functionality
  • Provide technical support for operational facilities;
  • Interface with design team, including subcontractors during design development through construction to ensure designs and build support operational needs;
  • Ensure drawings and submittals are reviewed as required for facilities under construction;
  • Ensure EDFS is represented during commissioning and recommissioning activities;
  • Initiate and support energy management and reduction initiatives;
  • Support the development of capital plan projects and budgets;
  • Stay current on building systems technology.
  • Support the education and development of technical site personnel;
  • Assist with increasing operational efficiency;
  • Contribute to technical FM lessons learned documentation, technical services MOP/SOP;
  • Help keep technical resources library up-to-date.
  • The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000

Is this the right role for you?

  • Licensed Professional Engineer, Degree in Engineering, Technology Diploma or Technical certification and equivalent work experience
  • Working knowledge of CMMS system(s), thorough understanding of preventative maintenance programs and requirements.
  • 2-5 years experience with large complex buildings;
  • Good oral and written communication skills;
  • Working knowledge of building systems and operations;
  • Working knowledge of relevant facility management and construction software;
