Job description

Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

Shift: 07:00 - 17:30

Assignment Details:

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited 24-month course of study program in Radiologic Technology
  • Active Certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Active Radiologic Technologist License in the State of Montana with the Board of Radiologic Technologists
  • Evidence of compliance with ARRT continuing education requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Operate ionizing equipment to produce radiographs of body regions for diagnostic purposes.
  • Evaluate radiographs to obtain appropriate diagnostic information.
  • Use independent judgment to acquire optimum information for each examination performed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Follow established departmental procedures and efficiently navigate emergent situations.
