Job Description
The Surgical Technologist prepares and assists surgical procedures during the intraoperative phase of the perioperative process.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for providing for and anticipating the surgeons' needs during a procedure while maintaining the sterile field, adhering to principles of aseptic technique, and ensuring safety with all counted items.
  • Assists preparation for procedures by assisting with completion, wrapping, and processing of instruments in Sterile Processing.

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program
  • Certified Surgical Technologist
  • BLS certification (or obtained within 3 months of employment)

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Minimum of one-year experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care hospital operating room
  • Pediatric and/or orthopaedic experience
The pay range for this position is $21.74 - $32.62. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
