                                                                                                      Product Support / Logistics Support

 

Description of Specific duties in a typical workday for this position: 

  • Supporting development and execution of enterprise product support strategies; sustainment and transition planning; and logistics processes aligned with ETI objectives.
  • The role supports analysis and documentation of supportability requirements, sustainment metrics, and lifecycle considerations for enterprise systems, applications, and integrated capabilities. 
  • Additional duties include supporting configuration and asset tracking (where applicable); coordinating logistics and sustainment inputs to acquisition and integration documentation (e.g., SOWs, PWSs, CDRLs); supporting deployment, transition, and operational support activities; and tracking sustainment performance and service-level metrics.
  • The Product Support / Logistics Specialist assists with data gathering, analysis, and reporting to assess readiness, efficiency, and effectiveness of enterprise support processes. 
  • The role works closely with program managers, systems engineers, test teams, cybersecurity personnel, and stakeholders to ensure ETI capabilities are supportable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise operational needs throughout their lifecycle. 

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Systems Engineering, or a related field 
  • Must have active Secret security clearance
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting logistics, product support, sustainment, or lifecycle management within a DoD, Federal, or large enterprise environment 
  • Demonstrated experience with: 
    • Product support and sustainment planning 
    • Lifecycle logistics or enterprise service support 
    • Development or support of sustainment metrics and reporting 
    • Coordination across technical, operational, and program teams 
    • Documentation and process improvement support 
  • Active Secret Clearance

Nice to Have:

  • Experience supporting enterprise IT systems, digital transformation, or service-based architectures 
  • DAU coursework or certification in Life Cycle Logistics or Product Support
  • Familiarity with: 
    • Enterprise sustainment models and service management concepts 
    • ITIL or service lifecycle frameworks
