SUMMARY

DDP Roofing, a leading roofing company located in Glen Mills, PA, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Roof Tech Representative to join our team. In this role, you will spend 70% of your time in the field, meeting with building owners, consultants, and property managers to inspect roofs. The remaining 30% of your time will be spent at our corporate office, where you will perform detailed take-offs of roofs, including photos, core sampling, and measurements. To excel in this position, you should possess strong computer skills, excellent people skills, and a knack for mathematics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct on-site inspections of roofs for various buildings and structures, as scheduled or assigned.
  • Meet with building owners, consultants, and property managers to understand their roofing needs, address concerns, and offer appropriate solutions.
  • Perform detailed take-offs of roofs, including accurate measurements, core sampling, and capturing photographs as required.
  • Utilize computer software and tools to generate accurate reports, compile data, and create visual representations of the roofs.
  • Analyze roofing data, identify potential issues or areas for improvement, and recommend appropriate courses of action.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, engineers, and sales representatives, to develop comprehensive roofing solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients regarding roof repair, maintenance, and installation options.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and regulations related to roofing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines while performing field inspections and assessments.
  • Maintain accurate records, including inspection reports, project files, and customer information.
  • Attend industry conferences, seminars, and training sessions to enhance professional knowledge and skills.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or vocational training in roofing or construction are desirable.
  • Proven experience in roof inspection, take-offs, and analysis is preferred.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and tools for data analysis, report generation, and visual representation of findings.
  • Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements, calculations, and estimations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality of work.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various job sites.
  • Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, climb ladders, and navigate uneven terrain.
