TRC Talent Solutions is in for an Occupational Medicine Front Office Assistant for our client in Augusta, GAPosition Summary

TRC Talent Solutions is seeking a professional and customer-focused Occupational Medicine Front Office Assistant to support a busy Occupational Medical clinic in Augusta, GA. This temporary position will provide administrative and front-office support for employee health services, ensuring a positive experience for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced medical office environment.

Location: Augusta, GA
Assignment Length: 30-45 Day Contract
Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:45am-3:45pm
Pay Rate: $20-$22/hr
Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients, visitors, and employees in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Answer and direct incoming phone calls.

  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow.

  • Perform patient registration and verify demographic information.

  • Maintain accurate records and update information in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

  • Scan, file, and organize medical and administrative documentation.

  • Assist with onboarding paperwork and occupational health related forms.

  • Monitor reception area and ensure a clean, professional environment.

  • Coordinate with clinical staff regarding appointments, screenings, and testing schedules.

  • Handle confidential information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.

  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, copying, faxing, and email correspondence.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Previous front office, receptionist, administrative assistant, or medical office experience preferred.

  • Experience in a healthcare, clinic, occupational medicine, or physician office setting is a plus.

  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and data entry systems.

  • Ability to maintain accuracy while handling multiple tasks.

  • Professional demeanor and strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.

  • Experience with EMR/EHR systems.

  • Familiarity with insurance verification and patient registration processes.
