Therapy Tech Intern

Clinical Duties:

As a Therapy Tech Intern you will:

  • Observe Therapy Sessions.

  • Prepare and set up for individual &/or group therapy sessions .

  • Complete therapy driven projects.

  • Assist with organizational projects .

  • Ensure a clean and safe treatment space.

  • Collaborate with other team members to include Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Audiology, and Administrative Staff.

  • Assume other projects and responsibilities as assigned by your Supervisor.

  • Abide by all company Policies & Procedures.

Administrative Duties:

  • Actively communicate by email through Microsoft Outlook.

  • Utilize Payroll System to report time worked.

  • Use copy machine, fax, and laminator.

  • Assist front desk with patient check-in, paperwork, scheduling and payment.

  • Monitor and re-stock materials and supplies for therapy and day to day operations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift at least 30lbs.

  • Must be able to read small print.

  • Must be able to interact verbally with children, caregivers and the public.

  • Must be able to type on a keyboard.
