Student Auditorium Tech Crew

$15/Hour 

Working hours will vary depending on Auditorium Events. 

Working hours will be on evenings and weekends. 

Position Description 
Join an elite team of 1520 dedicated students who serve as the backbone of the Community Education Auditorium Programs. This is not just a club; it is a professional employment opportunity within the Wayzata School District.

As a member of the Auditorium Student Tech Crew, you will be responsible for the technical and operational success of community stage productions. While we have high expectations for character and professionalism, we pride ourselves on a "team-first" culture where every student feels welcome from day one.

What You Will Learn & Do

No prior experience is necessarywe provide the training. You will gain hands-on experience in:

  • Theatrical Technology: Operating professional soundboards, light boards, spotlights, and counterweight fly systems.
  • Backstage Management: Facilitating smooth productions by coordinating communication between the house, box office, and performers.
  • Front-of-House Operations: Assisting the House Manager with ushering and guest services.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Learning to identify and resolve equipment or operating issues for staff and clients.
