Location: Virginia Beach, VA; Candidate must be located in the Hampton Roads areaJob Summary:Reporting directly to the Metro Elevator Virginia Modernization Manager, the Modernization Supervisor will play a key role in the division's day-to-day operations. Their job responsibilities include scheduling, planning, and preparing various tasks while maintaining a strong focus on organizational excellence and customer relations. This position requires a proactive individual who excels in time management and possesses computer proficiency to enhance overall productivity and operational effectiveness. Management experience required and elevator experience preferred.Employment Status/Expectations:Full TimeJob Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):Scheduling and Planning: Develop and manage schedules for tasks, projects, and elevator technicians, ensuring efficient utilization of time and optimizing workforce allocation. Collaborate with department heads to create timelines and deadlines for various projects.Job Preparation: Oversee the preparation and coordination of resources, materials, and personnel required for specific projects. Ensure all necessary tools and equipment are available, and team members are well-informed about their responsibilities.Customer Relations: Foster positive relationships with customers and clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or issues promptly. Proactively seek feedback to improve service quality and maintain strong customer retention.Operations Efficiency: Analyze current operational processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance overall efficiency and productivity. Safety Champion: Promote a strong safety culture throughout the organization. Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement safety protocols, policies, and training programs.
