Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation of monthly financial statements across multiple business entities
  • Lead the annual budgeting process and manage day-to-day financial operations
  • Present financial results, forecasts, and budget performance to senior leadership
  • Ensure timely federal and state tax filings and compliance
  • Coordinate annual financial statement audits with the external CPA firm
  • Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls, policies, and financial procedures
  • Direct all accounting functions, including Revenue Cycle, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and account reconciliations
  • Perform financial modeling, analysis, and special projects as needed
  • Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and business decisions
  • Maintain compliance with applicable financial regulations and reporting requirements
Qualifications:
  • 2-8+ years of experience as a Controller within a mid-sized or large organization
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required
  • CPA and/or Master's degree strongly preferred
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP platform
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, hands-on leadership style
  • Experience managing accounting teams of 10 or more employees
  • Prior public accounting experience is highly preferred
