About the Job You're Considering

The Technology Sector Business Technology Architect is a strategic technology leader serving as a trusted advisor to C-suite and senior technology executives. This role defines and governs enterprise architecture strategy across complex, multi-domain landscapes including business, data, application, and infrastructure, and translates executive priorities into actionable roadmaps, target-state architectures, and transformation programs.

You will work with some of the world's most influential technology companies, including large hyperscalers, platform providers, OEMs, and semiconductor and chip manufacturers. These clients operate highly complex global ecosystems that demand scalable, resilient, and forward-looking technology strategies.

Business Architects define and structure the business strategy, capabilities, services, governance, organizational domains and key business processes. They align goals and objectives with products, processes, services, partners and suppliers to optimise the enterprise organisation, its capabilities and initiatives. The key focus is on the e2e value delivery, the business operations and business motivations linking the enterprise networks together.  Business Architects define and ensure a comprehensive and coherent view across business domains, from strategy to execution. They model and create organisational value capabilities, structures and maps to optimise transformation and change, operational value delivery and a rationalised and sustainable IT.

Managing Business Architect Design, deliver and manage complete business architecture solutions. Demonstrate leadership of topics in the architect community and show a passion for technology and business acumen. Work as a stream lead at CIOorCTO level for an internal or external client. Lead Capgemini operations relating to market development andoror service delivery excellence. Are seen as a role model in their local community. Certification: preferably Capgemini Architects certification level 2 or above, IAF and TOGAF 9 or equivalent.

Your Role
  • Adaptive Supply Chain and Planning - enabling resilient, data-driven supply chains that respond dynamically to demand, disruption, and global variability.
  • Logistics and Fulfillment - modernizing warehouse, distribution, and last-mile fulfillment platforms to improve speed, cost, and customer outcomes.
  • Manufacturing and Smart Factory - shaping digital manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and smart factory architectures spanning IoT, edge, data platforms, and enterprise systems.
  • Customer Engagement Enablement - designing platforms that support omnichannel customer engagement, partner ecosystems, and developer platforms.
  • Customer Experience and Experience Management - enabling experience-led architectures that connect customer, partner, and employee journeys with underlying data and platforms
  • Own the design, delivery, and governance of enterprise architecture solutions including capability-based roadmaps, target-state architectures, and reference architectures.
  • Demonstrate leadership across the architect community with a strong bias toward business outcomes and pragmatic execution.
  • Translate business outcomes such as improved customer conversion and retention, reduced inventory imbalance, faster response to market volatility, and cost reduction into reliability and observability architectural requirements.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to CIO, CTO, and senior business leaders, translating business strategy into executable technology and architecture direction.
  • Own enterprise architecture strategy, target-state design, and multi-year roadmaps aligned to growth, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Define and govern architecture standards, principles, patterns, and review processes to enable scalable and secure solutions.
  • Lead vendor architecture assessments and RFP support including solution evaluation criteria, target-state alignment, and integration and security considerations.
  • Serve as Design Authority across complex programs, ensuring architectural integrity across applications, data, platforms, integration, and infrastructure.
  • Identify, shape, and help close new opportunities within the account by linking client challenges to high value, multi-year transformation initiatives.
  • Support executive workshops, roadmap definition, RFPs, and strategic pursuits by articulating clear technology visions and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with cloud, platform, and ecosystem partners to accelerate innovation and delivery.
Your Skills and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or senior technology leadership roles, ideally within the Technology sector.
  • Proven experience working directly with executive stakeholders in large, complex organizations.
  • Strong background in modern enterprise architectures including cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), integration, data, APIs, and platform-based ecosystems.
  • Proven leadership of architecture teams or cross-functional technical initiatives across multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to influence senior decision makers and connect technology decisions to measurable business outcomes and value realization.
  • Preferred qualifications include:
  • Experience working with hyperscalers, platform providers, OEMs, or semiconductor manufacturers.
  • Consulting or advisory background supporting large-scale digital or technology transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Strong commercial and growth mindset with experience shaping and supporting strategic pursuits.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $98,497 - $281,842

Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.

The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.

These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.

It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.

In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
