Job Description

Responsibilities:

Create, edit, and update web content on the client Intranet using Microsoft SharePoint. 

Work closely with the Manager of IT Communications to provide communications support across a variety of channels to increase awareness of IT strategy, partnerships and programs both within IT and throughout the global client community.

Assist with planning and executing monthly communications events, including lunch-and-learns, manager's meetings, and other special events. 

Research, interview, write, and edit news stories that demonstrate the value that IT brings to the business. 

Work with managers to write internal announcements for new hires, promotions, and other organizational changes. 

Assist with script creation and production of informal videos showcasing IT projects and strategy.

Provide a consistent stream of internal social media content via Yammer. 

Assist IT staff with adhering to IT branding standards. 

Create attractive, user-centric print collateral, including infographics, job aids, and service brochures. 


Qualifications

Education and Experience Requirements:

College degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing or public relations required. 

At least two years' experience working in a corporate environment, with a focus on communications and administrative support required. 

Knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint required. 

Experience managing projects, planning events, creating content and general understanding of graphic design principles and user experience required. 

Experience with Adobe PhotoShop, Microsoft SharePoint, and iMovie desired but not required.
