PSE's New Product Development team is looking for qualified candidates to fill an open Associate Business Technology Analyst - Street Lighting position!

Job Description

The Associate Business Technology Analyst supports the function and enhancement of street lighting applications and databases with the goal of high data integrity and usability and manages the continued deployment of Smart Street Light Control devices and tracks street light usage and performance data. Under direct supervision, this role supports the technology systems across related organization to help maximize effective business processes and solutions. The Associate Business Technology Analyst assists with performance and maintenance activities including troublshooting and resolving issues.

As a PSE employee you will uphold the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities and promote and support a culture of total safety. You will also demonstrate commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct and ensure duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provides support to users by identifying solutions to system-related issues.
    • Monitors, triages, troubleshoots, resolves incidents and escalates where necessary.
    • Tracks and documents issues.
    • Participates in upgrades, enhancements and system fixes coordinated with IT and/or vendors.
    • Assists with user documentation and training as necessary.
  • Participates in projects, initiatives and activities to support/improve the needs of the business through technology:
    • Documents user information/needs/requirements.
    • Assists in analyzing processes, functions and procedures to offer the most effective technology solution to meet the needs of the business.
    • Participates in user testing and in developing/coordinating test plans and requirements.
    • Ensures data integrity and migrations where necessary.
    • Documents and may provide training on new/enhanced system functionality as necessary.
  • Provides assistance with reporting, audit responses, benchmarking and/or KPI (Key Performance Indicators).
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in technology, business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and/or related experience.
  • 2 years relevant experience with business or operations technology.
  • Prior experience with process improvement or business case development.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of requirements management, diagramming, use case develoment.
  • Knowledge of business process re-engineering.
  • Knowledge of SAP module particular to business unit (SAP-ISU, ECC, CRM, etc.)
  • Utility industry experience.

The pay range for this position is $72,700.00 - $103,300.00, and this position is eligible for annual goals based incentive bonuses.
