Job Position: Warehouse Support Associate Tech Trainee

Company: Pro Coffee Gear

Location: Austin, Texas, USA

Type: Full-time

About Us: Pro Coffee Gear is a fast-growing ecommerce and wholesale distributor of commercial and home espresso equipment. We serve cafés, roasters, restaurants, and serious home baristas with new and refurbished espresso machines, grinders, and accessories from the most respected brands in coffee. We’re building a disciplined, data-driven growth engine — and paid media is a critical part of that foundation.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Warehouse Support Associate Tech Trainee to join our growing team in a dynamic, early-stage environment. This is not a traditional warehouse role—you’ll play a key part in both operational execution and technical support, working closely with our Head Technician and Logistics Lead.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, technical problem-solving, and process improvement, and who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving setting. You’ll contribute directly to ensuring our equipment is organized, functional, and ready for customers.

What You’ll Do

Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment

  • Organize, track, pack, and fulfill shipments of espresso machines and small equipment
  • Receive purchase orders, build kits, and maintain accurate inventory of parts and products

Technical Support

  • Assist technicians with cleaning, testing, and basic diagnostics of espresso machines
  • Disassemble and reassemble external machine components
  • Prepare machines for shipment, including quality checks

Product Preparation & Presentation

  • Clean and prepare equipment for product photography
  • Take high-quality photos for internal and customer-facing use

Process Improvement & General Support

  • Support ongoing improvements in workflows and organization
  • Take on ad hoc operational tasks as the business scales

Requirements

  • Experience & Skills
    • 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or inventory control
    • Proven ability to manage shipping, receiving, and inventory processes with accuracy
    • Strong technical aptitude; comfortable working with mechanical equipment
    • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Mindset & Work Style
    • Proactive and adaptable, with a willingness to take ownership in a fast-changing environment
    • Team-oriented, with the ability to collaborate closely across technical and operations functions
    • Process-driven, with an interest in identifying inefficiencies and improving workflows
  • Nice to have
    • Experience with coffee equipment, appliances, or mechanical systems
    • Genuine interest in or passion for coffee

Benefits

    • Paid time off.
    • Professional development support and technical training.
    • Career advancement opportunities within a fast-growing company.
    • Autonomy in a goal-oriented and performance-driven culture.
    • Opportunity to work with innovative equipment and evolving technologies.
