Job description

HN Consulting LLC is currently seeking Senior IT Analyst to join our Alexandria, VA team. The IT Senior Analyst will help develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel and assess clients' satisfaction, demonstrate proficiency with IT auditing concepts and apply them to client situations, as well as identify and effectively communicate IT matters to Managers and Principals.
Responsibilites:.
  • Maintaining relationships and communicating with key client personnel to understand business operations, processes, and functions
  • Demonstrated experience executing FISCAM test procedures and documenting results in TeamMate
  • Experience auditing IT general controls and applying the FISCAM framework to federal financial statement audits
  • Ability to assess Windows, Cisco, and Linux devices against clients STIGs and interpret the significance of identified deviations
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of IT concepts and apply them to client situations
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with clients and team members
  • Supervise and review work performed by junior IT staff
  • Review and evaluate internal controls and supporting documentation
  • Determine compliance with OMB, NIST, and DoD policies
  • Up to 10% travel

Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree from an accredited college/university in Accounting or IT
  • Minimum 4 years of IT, accounting/auditing experience
  • Experience working with Federal and/or DoD clients a plus
  • Experience with Federal clients, OMB-A-123 Internal, or NIST SP 800-53-A Security Assessments is a plus
  • Interim clearance required
  • CISA Certification - highly desirable.
