The Analyst, Application Technology will be based in Salt Lake City, UT reporting to the ERP Manager.
The ERP analyst will provide Baan V technical support, and work closely with the customer focus team, and customer itself.

What A Typical Day Looks Like:

  • Self-assign incidents in service now and follow up until resolution.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Document symptom, action, resolution, corrective and preventive actions.
  • Attend incidents on FIFO-basis. Expedite resolution based on priority and business impact.
  • Comply with company stablished SLA and ensure MTTR.
  • Engage different regional and corporate teams to assure incident resolution.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate teams on recurrent audit and access reviews.
  • Collaborate with regional and corporate teams on corporate-driven initiatives.
  • Provide incident-based user training to avoid recurrent incidents related to training.
  • Drive root cause analysis on repetitive incidents. Design, implement, test, and deploy corrective actions.
  • Support and troubleshoot system integrations between proprietary ERP, in-house-developed MES, customer platforms, APIs, EDI translators, SFTP and external business partners.
  • Attend CFT meetings.
  • Attend customer-facing meetings.
  • Intake new business requirements based on Flex's corporate
  • Design, implement in test environment solutions that fit the business needs.
  • Engage regional and corporate resources thru their stablished process to request developments.
  • Receive business sign-off of new solutions and deploy to production per stablished change process.
  • Provide weekly status to top management of ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with local MES team to develop new system integrations
  • Develop, maintain, complex SQL queries and stored procedures (on both PL-SQL and T/SQL technologies) (CTEs, partitioning, window functions, subqueries, multi-table joins, advance database design).
  • Maintain a local database / data lake used for reporting (creating, maintaining, decommissioning tables and stored procedures).
  • Develop, document, test, and deploy reports (using SSRS, Tableau) per standard practices.
  • Be part of on-call rotation (one weekend per team member). Be reachable, attend escalation and line down situations when on call.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 6 years of related experience.

The experience we're looking to add to the Team:

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in computer, engineering, or equivalent fields.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience in Baan V ERP.
  • Knowledge of Flex operational processes, manufacturing execution workflows, and supply chain systems preferred.
  • Demonstrates advanced functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
  • Proficient English (read, write, speak) skills.
  • Advance Baan V ERP Skills. Be familiar with Flex's Baan database schema.
  • Advanced SQL skills.
