Job description

Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Finance team. This entry-mid level role is ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career in a dynamic and tech-driven environment. You will assist with day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Job Type: Full Time Employee
Location: On-site Monday-Thursday in Troy MI (Friday-remote)

Key Responsibilities
• Process invoices, expense reports, and vendor payments
• Assist in managing Finance internal and vendor inquiries and reconcile vendor accounts
• Allocate corporate credit card transactions and reconcile credit card statements
• Assist in reconciliation of bank statements and general ledger accounts
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with internal controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial data needs
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• 3-5 years of accounting or finance experience (internships included)
• Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (preferably NetSuite)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Strong initiative and problem-solving skills
